Coolamon Shire FOGO Case Study

To encourage councils to consider introducing a kerbside organics collection, the Waste Forum commissioned a Case Study on Coolamon Shire Council's Food Organics, Garden Organics (FOGO) collection and processing system. The Report, Coolamon Shire Case Study: Positive Aspects for FOGO Service & Composting Facility Implementation Shire-level Case Study for Regional Applicability includes information on the project background, study methodology, findings and recommendations for introduction of a FOGO service and composting facility in a rural setting. The Case Study has been published for other councils interested in FOGO.
