Yours2Take

The aim of Yours2Take is to increase waste diversion from landfill by making it easier to dispose of items by giving them away rather than throwing them away.

Yours2Take is an on-line exchange that allows users to advertise products that they believe have a re-use capability, which they are happy to give away. The website was launched in March 2008. Since the launch almost 6,000 people have registered on the site and over 1,000 items have been given away.  The site attracts an average of 3,500 visitors per month.

A wide range of items are available on the website to be given away including computers, cars, baby clothing, toys, magazines, furniture, piano, plants, washing machines and even an ironing board cover! We have also had several houses listed to giveaway on the site. Users have registered from all over Australia.
